parc lafontaine

Located in NDG, Somerled Park is the most beautiful place to play tennis in south-west Montreal. Its 12 tennis courts (rebuilt three years ago), its rest area and its century-old trees make it a great spot where to play, relax and chat with friends. Surrounded by Somerled, Hampton, Fielding and Hingston streets, it is easily accessible and has plenty of parking space around. Come have a look at the beautiful houses of our quiet neighborhood, receive a warm welcome from our court attendants and meet dynamic and dedicated club members who will be pleased to greet you. At Somerled Park, smiles and fun are always in order. We guarantee our members plenty of action and surprises during the tennis season.

In partnership with Tennis Montréal, the Somerled Tennis Club offers various activities:

  • private or group lessons for players of all levels
  • tournaments for players of all levels
  • various activities are organized by the Somerled Tennis Club throughout the year

Join our friendly doubles league on Friday evenings and/or Saturday mornings, and come meet new players for informal matches.

  • Recreational leage for players of all levels

Every Tuesday, the Somerled men and women doubles teams play against the teams of other clubs involved in the competitive league. (Six training sessions are held at the beginning of the season.)

  • Inter-clubs competive league for players of level 3.0 or over

After a good tennis match, why not meet up with friends? Monkland Street is nearby, with its cafés, restaurants and shops. There are plenty of opportunities for entertainment and fun on that busy, lively street that you will not want to miss.

So, do not hesitate to come and join us! We will be pleased to welcome you.
